Rotationally resolved fluorescence-dip and ion-dip spectra of single rovibronic states of benzene

چکیده

We report fluorescence-dip as well as ion-dip spectra of single rovibronic one-photon states of benzene with a linewidth as narrow as 0.14 cm'1. The selective excitation of the rovibronic states was achieved through the combination of a frequency-doubled pulsed amplified cw dye laser (Avuv 100 MHz) and a collimated molecular beam. The detailed analysis of the dip spectra shows that the observed spectral features correspond to single rovibronic transitions if suitable states are excited. From the spectra, precise harmonic frequencies and anharmonic constants for the So state are determined. A hitherto unknown Darling-Dennison resonance of the overtones of v, with the 52 state is found.

New applications of the genetic algorithm for the interpretation of high-resolution spectra1

Rotationally resolved electronic spectroscopy yields a wealth of information on molecular structures in different electronic states. Unfortunately, for large molecules the spectra get rapidly very congested owing to close-lying vibronic bands, other isotopomers with similar zero-point energy shifts, or large-amplitude internal motions. A straightforward assignment of single rovibronic lines and...

mOderately cold molecular beam: Spectral and dynamical analysis

Rotationally resolved spectra ofthe 66 and 66 1Ö band of benzene, C6H6, in a supersonic molecular beam at rotational temperatures between 8 and 50 Kare reported. The spectra consist oflines of 85 MHz linewidth. An unexpectedly low saturation intensity of ::::; 10 W /cm is found for the observed one-photon transitions, and it is shown that the saturation intensity differs for different rotationa...

Thermal Equilibration and Ellipsoidal Expansion of Rotationally-Symmetrical Longitudinal Flow in Relativistc Heavy Ion Collisions

A rotationally-symmetrical ellipsoidal flow model is proposed for the relativistic heavy-ion collisions and compared with the 14.6 A GeV/c Si-Al and 10.8 A GeV/c Au-Au collision data. The large stopping in the heavier collision system and heavier produced particles is accounted for by using the ellipsoidal flow picture. The central dip in the proton and deuteron rapidity distributions for Si-Al...

The effect or temperature on the behavior of Cu(II) Mr electrode based on bis(N-sahcylidenc-3.3'-4iaminodiphenyl) sulfune(BSDDS) was studied. This electrode showed a good Nemstian response in the temperaturerange of 20-50 C. Also, the behavior of the synthesized electrode was inngigated in the mixed solvents'ethanol+water" and "dioxane +water'.
